Okay, granted, FE Gaiden's not exactly the greatest of the series in terms of storyline and the like; regardless, some major plot info gets spilled in this guide - I'm assuming that either you've reached this particular point in the game and are up to date with what's going on(also assuming that you can read Japanese or understand the blasted English patch), or you don't particularly care much about any spoilers and just want to read, just because. Whatever your reason, I'll show some courtesy and warn you readers now, whether you care or not~
At any rate, on with the guide. Everything will be outlined in the following steps; this is the easiest way that I've done things, so I'll take you step by step through Doma's Temple - if you find an easier way, go ahead, let me know; even so, I'm pretty confident in how I did things; the general idea is to reach Doma as quickly as possible with Alm, your acting lord unit, and his army, in order to save Celica, your other acting lord unit, and her army from being slain by the dark god Doma, the final boss of the game.

1. Walkthrough (yes, that's it~)
-------------------- 1. Step-by-Step Walkthrough -------------------- ___ 1. Like with most RPG's, it's a pretty good idea to save and take care of whatever you have/need to before descending the stairs in Rigel Castle. ___ 2. Once you take the stairs, walk right for a bit; after the next screeen, a large stone will block the way back to the stairs(hence, step one of this guide =P) and saving will be disabled on your menu screen. Keep walking right for about 3 or 4 screens until the scenery changes from rock walls to stone. ___ 3. Once you reach the second stone-walled screen, you should see a treasure chest behind a wall just above you; chances are that if you haven't already, you'll get an alert that one of Celica's party members has taken damage. Ignoring the chest for now, since you can't get it at the moment, continue right, then down, and you should come to the area where you last left off with Celica and Judah. ___ 4. Move towards the gate keeping you out of the area where Celica is, and Celica will run over and tell you to hurry up and save her and her army from being killed off by Doma and Judah, who they're obviously fighting now. ___ 5. Take the hallway to the bottom-left now. you'll now be receiving random alerts that Celica and her party members are taking damage; they can very well be killed if you don't reach them quickly enough. ___ 6. The next room should contain a stairway and another hallway to the left. Before moving anywhere, observe the black door-like areas beneath the overpass that you traveled across earlier on. The first black area just to the left of the one above the stairway, take it. ___ 7. You won't have a clear path to take once you reach the next screen. move up, to the right, up, and right again, and you should enter a room with a single treasure chest in it; it contains the Galdius(Gladius/Gradius?) spear which has a rather nice +15 attack power. Equip it on whomever you like(and can equip spears!), and follow the path back to the door; there's nothing left to take here. ___ 8. Don't bother taking the stairs; you'll take them when you're finished with the rest of the temple, and you'll be coming up them, not down, at any rate. continue left. ___ 9. You will enter a room with more black doorways to the north, as well as four black squares sitting in the center of the room; take the square on the bottom-right, and you'll fall several floors down. taking any of the other squares down will not take you to where you need to be. More on that later; now walk through the right hallway. ___ 10. You'll find yourself up against two Dark Fighters, two Bigles, four Witches, and six Barons, and a line of swamp quicksand from past battles will slowly creep up towards you, a line at a time, with each turn that passes. Take out the Bigles and Dark Fighters as quickly as you can, and prepare to take out the Witches that will undoubtedly rush headlong at you. As usual, some may even teleport into the midst of your units to attack whomever will be weakest against their magic, so expect them to throw you that curveball eventually. Magic is the best way to take down the remaining Barons, and hopefully, it hasn't taken very long to deal with the other units, so play it safe and fling spells at them from afar. If you're lucky, one of those barons may even drop a Moon Spear once defeated. ___ 11. You'll find yourself standing in a slightly large room once the battle's won. The blue door sitting at the top-center of the room should catch your eye; beyond that door, only the royalty of Rigel can pass, and assuming you realize why only Alm can use the Royal Sword, and defeat Rudolph without being attacked, etc., you'll know that only Alm can continue on. By now, Alm should be rather strong, assuming you've taken the time to level him up after his class-change. Alm's trusty Royal Sword is his best weapon here; unless, for some reason, you work better with another weapon, equip it if it hasn't already been and head through the door and up the stairs... ___ 12. The first fight up the stairs is against a group of ten Leec's(lich's, perhaps?), which are really just slightly pumped up skeletons. Stand your ground on the healing space and let them come to you; in a few turns, the walls keeping the rest of the leec's out will vanish, and they'll come at you from all sides. Not much of a noteworthy battle, otherwise; go up the stairs once you're done. ___ 13. Next, you'll face a group of Balrogs, eight if I recall correctly, which are basically stronger versions of the Gargoyle monster. Don't try too hard to reach that pink healing square in the room if it's far out of reach; it teleports randomly around, leaving swamp/quicksand where it's been. Just tough it out; these monsters aren't much to worry about. Up the stairs again... ___ 14. Now you'll face 2 White Dragons. Don't bother going for the healing space, as the dragons can quite easily fly over the walls and reach you in the first turn or so; just take the dragons head-on. Beware, as Judah may pop in occasionally and take the liberty of taking your turn away from you(to be honest, I think that he can do it in the other two battles as well). One last time up those godforsaken stairs... ___ 15. And, sure enough, there's that blasted treasure chest from before that couldn't be reached; go for it now, and you'll get the Falcion, which, all things considered, is of course the best weapon in the game, not to mention the only one that can kill Doma. Only Alm can wield it, so go ahead and ditch the Royal Sword for the Falcion now; you'll still get the turn-by-turn healing, and it gets a bonus added to its attack whenever you're fighting the undead/monsters, the same as the Holy Sword. Good, now turn around and go back down all the stairs that you came up, and don't worry about getting into those fights from earlier- you won't have to do them again. ___ 16. Back to the left once you come out of the blue door and jump into any of the three black squares. Go right and you'll end up in a large room with stairs sitting near the bottom; ignore the other corridor(leads to a big empty room) and take the stairs all the way up, until you end up in the room with the doorway to the Gradius(look back through the guide if you have to). Move to the left and back to the black squares again; take the one on the top-left this time, and once you land, take another screen to the right and you'll end up in one last 'normal' fight. ___ 17. Four Witches, two Dark Fighters, a Shaman, and three Barons are all that stand between you and reaching Celica and her army. Trash them all as usual, but if you're able, warp a particularly strong unit up in between those Barons at the top of the map. Hopefully, that unit can kill them all off on his/her own without allowing any of them to get to that tan-looking square sitting alone in the small corridor nearby. Don't hit it yourself, either; the ever-present swamp/quicksand'll show up at the bottom of the screen if you do. Not much else to say about this battle; once you're finished, head to the right again. You'll end up in another room with black squares, long ones this time. The square to the far right is the one to enter, but enter it from the bottom so that you actually land on the floor that you need to reach. ___ 18. It's a straight shot from here; go all the way up the stairs that you see and you should end up in a room outside the area where Celica and her army are fighting - this time, you're in front of the door, instead of the gate. Make sure that you've got all the units that you wish to use in your first ten rank slots, have everyone equipped with what they need, and finally Head through the blue door ahead - you'll begin the final battle against Doma, Judah, and a myriad of their accomplices as well as a ridiculous amount of Bigles. I can't provide a completely fool-proof strategy to use in this battle, as I wouldn't know who exactly you've brought into battle with Alm and Celica, but I will say that Holy weapons and magic will be your most effective weapon against the Bigles, who multiply rapidly and are summoned by both Doma and Judah in battle - needless to say, you'll be fighting a LOT of them before the battle's through. Keep your units from being seperated in the fight, focus your attacks as best you can, keep your best melee fighters out front(not too many; healing them all might become tricky), long range fighters behind the lines, and try your best to kill off Judah as quickly as you can. With the Falcion, Alm shouldn't have too much trouble cutting through the Bigles to reach him; Judah's auto-attack sealing won't work on the Falcion, so Alm can kill him without any hindrances(just be mindful of the Death spell's power), although I've once attacked Judah with Pay, using the Holy Bow(it was a one-time thing that didn't happen again with me, so I can't make any definite conclusions about the bow) - it's not nearly as reliable in fighting Judah, however, so just take him out with Alm, as he's a sure shot for success.
I don't completely recall on this matter, but I think that once Judah's been killed, any Bigles that he's summoned will still remain on screen(I certainly hope that I'm wrong), but, either way, mostly all that should be left are Doma's Bigles and several magic wielders near Doma him(?)/her(?)/itself. I'd recommend that you kill off any remaining units before dealing with Doma, personally. Either way, Alm's Falcion is the only surefire way of killing the dark god, so send Alm straight for him and attack; move anyone else that might be nearby out of Doma's range. Be warned, when you get close to Doma, he will use a special attack that, from the looks of things, causes an earthquake - the main concern is that it deals noteable, but not fatal damage to ALL your units on the map, so be ready for that HP-wise and be ready to heal all your units(hopefully, you recruited and brought along Tita here; Reserve will help immensely). He'll then teleport to attack whomever was in close enough range to trigger that special attack(hopefully only Alm).
Just keep attacking with the Falcion and use (L)ibro to heal Alm from afar as he fights. After taking great damage, Doma will heal itself(it'll only do this once, as well as cause another earthquake, if memory serves), but that just means that it's that much closer to falling, so keep hacking away with the Falcion. Once Doma's HP falls to a set amount, Alm will...well...I'd rather not say; it rocks too much to spoil it, especially for an NES/Famicon game. At any rate, Doma will fall, and you can congratulate yourself - you've beaten Fire Emblem Gaiden.
